Air Gas Sensor

Air Quality Gas Sensor SV11

Product Description

The SV11 air quality sensor adopts a multi-layer thick film manufacturing process. The heater and metal oxide semiconductor gas-sensitive layer are made on both sides of the micro-ceramic substrate and encapsulated in a metal shell. When the detected gas exists in the ambient air, the conductivity of the sensor changes. The higher the concentration of the gas, the higher the conductivity of the sensor. A simple circuit can be used to convert this conductivity change into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.

Product Features

SV11 air quality gas sensor has good sensitivity to methane in a wide concentration range, and has the advantages of strong anti-interference ability, low power consumption, fast response recovery, good stability, long life, low cost, simple driving circuit, etc. It is suitable for indoor, vehicle, garage, supermarket and municipal air quality monitoring, etc.

Precautions

  1. The power-on aging time should be no less than 48 hours before use;
  2. Avoid contact with organic solvents and high concentration gases;
  3. It cannot be used in an environment containing corrosive gases for a long time;
  4. When the sensor is working, avoid vertical air intake from the front;
  5. The air inlet of the sensor must not be blocked or contaminated;
  6. Do not use the sensor if it is damaged, dirty, or the air inlet is blocked;
  7. When storing the sensor, the working electrode and the counter electrode should be in a short-circuit state;
  8. It is prohibited to use hot melt adhesive or sealant to encapsulate the sensor.
